OUR STORY

BORN FROM A PASSION FOR
DESIGN, LIFESTYLE & NATURE

Founded by best friend duo Samuel and Aaron, The Garden Society was born from a passion for design, lifestyle and nature.

From a long-standing connection on-site as well as an expansion of skills within events and catering, they embarked on the first restaurant business in 2009.

The Orangery Tea House quickly became a popular destination hub to socialise, enjoy delicious food and experience themed events.

In 2017, the opportunity emerged to develop the garden centre site. Pulling together their creativity; experience in hospitality and event planning and including a genuine passion for trends and lifestyle, they created The Garden Society – a new experience in home, living, growing and dining. Changing the way we shop for homes and gardens.

In 2018 they acquired the aquatics department on site and also at Garsons garden centre, Titchfield, creating The Nature Collective, two stores specialising in aquatics and reptiles.

Spring 2020 saw the development of a sister site to The Orangery Tea House at Garsons Garden Centre, Titchfield offering a second venue for dining on the South Coast.

Winter 2020 the Duo launched The Orangery Tea House at Garsons Garden Centre, Esher expanding the dining experience into Surrey.
