The Elf Society is an immersive walk-through experience exploring Santa’s magical toy making workshop with a gingerbread decorating activity in Ginger’s Kitchen, have fun with the elves as they share their latest toy inventions before meeting the big man himself Santa where every child will receive a token gift. 

Make memories, take lots of photos and enjoy our one of a kind festive experience.  

With a busy schedule ahead all Elf recruits must ensure that they are punctual and have 100% attendance at every workstation before they meet Santa where children receive a token gift.

Arrival Time: 10 minutes before start time.

Duration: approx 20 minutes.

The venue is outside, but covered so please dress appropriately for the outside temperature.

You will be guided around Santa’s workshop. Please listen to the elves’ instructions as they are there as your guide and also for your safety. 

We ask for all participants to follow their guides and to not touch anything or move anything unless instructed to do so. 

You must remain within your group and move along to the next part of the experience when guided to do so. This includes when exiting the experience. Please note there will be no re-admission once you have left and please understand we need to operate to a tight schedule.

Do notify a member of the team immediately if you are hurt or see anyone injured.

Do notify a member of the team if you notice any dangerous behaviour – abusive or anti-social behaviour will not be tolerated and will result in immediate expulsion from the experience and off site.

Do not smoke, eat, drink or drop litter within The Elf Society experience. 

Food and drink is not permitted within The Elf Society experience.

Do not return into the performance space under any circumstances if asked to leave.

All adults are responsible for their own children and must keep them under constant supervision at all times. 

Please note that you are entering and partaking completely at your own risk and the management take no responsibility for your personal belongings or welfare once within the performance space.

A great deal of care is taken sourcing and building the set and displays and we ask for everyone to be respectful and to not touch, damage or deface whilst within the experience.

All guests are requested to conduct themselves appropriately at all times and to comply with company procedures and/or requests with regard to conduct and respect for the property of The Garden Society, its employees and guests and their health and safety.

Guests are requested not to disrupt the comfort and enjoyment of other guests or cause offence to other guests or our members of staff during the experience.

We reserve the right to refuse our services or remove you and members of your party from The Garden Society, if in our reasonable opinion, we consider this provision to have been breached.

We reserve the right and you hereby authorise us to charge your credit or debit card for any damage incurred to The Elf Society experience, our restaurant space or The Garden Society during your stay (including without limitation specialist cleaning) or for any items that are missing or damaged when you leave.

Each ticket includes an approximate 20 minute walk-through immersive experience.

Anyone entering The Elf Society requires a ticket, all children under 16 years of age must be accompanied by an adult 18 years or over.  

This event is suitable for children of all ages.

Gifts are suitable from 0 – 12 years of age.

Infants may be carried into the experience by an adult, but will not receive a present if they do not have a ticket. 

Each child ticket includes a gingerbread decorating activity in Ginger’s Kitchen as well as a token gift from Santa as part of The Elf Society’s immersive experience.

We have a maximum capacity of people per session. Please ensure everyone who wishes to join in the experience has their pre-purchased ticket as we are unable to issue additional tickets on arrival.

Please note your booking reference number does not need to be the same as another member of your party booked on the same session should you wish to enjoy the experience together, however we cannot move or amend the allocated time slots that are on your booking.

All tickets are final, non-refundable and non-transferrable. Please be confident that all of your party are able to attend before completing your purchase of ticket(s).

All tickets must be booked via our website only. Our ticketing payments are processed securely via Global Payments. 

Please check your booking confirmation email carefully as soon as you receive it. Contact us immediately via events@thegardensociety.co.uk if any information on the confirmation appears to be incorrect or incomplete it may not be possible to make changes later.

Full payment is required at the time of booking your tickets. 

Once a booking reference has been issued it will not be possible to amend or transfer your booking.

Your email confirmation will serve as your ticket(s) and as a proof of payment for your booking. 

Your email confirmation will be emailed to the email address you provide when making your booking.

Should you or any member of your party need to cancel your booking once it has been confirmed, the party leader must immediately advise us. All cancellations must be made to events@thegardensociety.co.uk. As soon as you cancel, your unique confirmation email will become void and non-redeemable. We regret it is not possible to make refunds in respect of cancelled bookings.

We are committed to providing great value offers on ticket(s); where possible offering discounts on entrance rates. There are likely to be some seasonal special offers and, in some circumstances, prices may go up or down. The price of your ticket(s) will be confirmed at the time of booking.

We reserve the right to correct errors in both advertised and confirmed prices. We will do so as soon as we become aware of the error. A total price of your ticket(s) will be given before you confirm your booking which you may accept or not. All prices are for pre-booking and include VAT.

Please check parking arrangements. Parking is always at the vehicle owner’s risk. At peak times our car park can get very busy so please ensure to arrive in plenty of time before your booking.

Please understand that due to the nature of immersive theatre interaction, performances may overrun and there may be waiting times before and during the performance.

There will be points of queuing for certain sections within the experience, however this is the perfect opportunity to take some photos.

Please note we are unable to accommodate any change for specific dietary requirements with regards to activities and gifts on the day of your visit.

If we find it necessary to close the event for any reason we will offer you a full refund via the same method of booking or the option to book an alternative session, subject to availability.

If we have to make a significant change or cancel your booking, we will tell you as soon as possible.

If you arrive late for your allocated time or cannot make the session for any reason, unfortunately we cannot offer a refund. 

We will not change session times under any circumstances and cannot provide refunds for sessions missed.

Please be aware the performance includes the use of special effects including, smoke, haze, foam, UV, flashing lights & strobes which may not be recommended for those who suffer from light sensitive epilepsy or are of a nervous disposition.

There are no lockers or space to leave personal belongings so we suggest you only bring items you are willing to carry. Please note we cannot accept responsibility for personal belongings. Prams and pushchairs are not allowed within the experience.

Please note parking is limited so allow extra time and where possible travel together as the car park gets very busy during event days.

The performance is outdoors, but undercover, however we suggest dressing appropriately for the outside temperature.

Prams and pushchairs are not allowed in The Elf Society experience due to limited space and the safety of all guests and performers. We have no storage space on site for belongings, prams or pushchairs.
