The Sol
An Interior Design Concept for St Thomas' Mead
Inspired by the Japandi trend our design concept for The Sol show home at St Thomas’ Mead, celebrates natural light and the world around us with the contemporary aesthetic of Scandi design combined with the timeless elegance of Japanese design ideals.

Soft neutrals and earthy tones set the scene for accents of nature against textiles, wood and stone where natural light casts beautiful shapes, lines and forms throughout the home to create a bright, airy but also cosy aesthetic.

MULTI-FUNCTIONAL LIVING
The kitchen and utility is created as a statement room in this home with bold styling.

This pink Shaker style is paired with the warm stone quartz work surfaces and matched pink painted walls. Whilst matte vanilla tableware and charcoal grey elements bring this theme together for a contemporary feel.

A relaxed family dining room, ideal for everyday use as well as perfect for entertaining is a feature at The Sol.

Mixed wood finishes and dark accessories dressed with natural branches are used for a minimal look which maximises the natural flow of light and space.

ROOMS TO RETREAT
'Bringing the outside in' is the theme continued in this four bedroom home with natural materials, foliage and soft blooms to create sanctuary.

The master bedroom features a large dressing room and en-suite with a bright white finish throughout. Whilst comfy throws maximise hygge with tones of terracotta and clay.

Created to demonstrate a home suited for an adult family, a masculine bedroom space is both contemporary and relaxed. Colour is used in a bold way with a black feature wall without distracting from the bright and airy vibe of The Sol.

The bright white styling is featured in the guest bedroom with the choice of colour and materials for a sophisticated look.

The fourth bedroom is presented as an office and snug with a relaxed zone and work station for a flexible space.
